About Us
Little Ones Creche and Pre-School was Founded in 1998 by a passionate business women and mother in her home. It has now grown to a fully registeres and early childhood development centre. We are situated in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg, Bloubosrand and are a feeder to both private and public primary schools in the area.
Our team has a dedicated and dynamic staff, comprised of teachers, assistants, cooking staff and team leaders. Our moto of “We are the future” articulates our mission and vision of building great leaders of tomorrow from a young age. We have been in operation for over 19 years and understand the importance of early childhood education.
Vision
Our vision is to create a pre-school and daycare environment that cultivates good character through the development of emotional intelligence.
Emotional intelligence is the backbone of social intelligence, both of which are vital skills which help us interact socially and in a positive way.
Through providing a fundamentally social environment, we aim to minimize the disconnect that comes from too much screen time, while helping our children experience the joys of human connection.
Mission
Their fun, exploratory methods have been shown to nuture problem-solving abilities, independent thinkers and individuals who can interact socially in a constructive, thoughtful and confident manner.
We aim to facilitate rather than force the development of important areas of personal growth while recognising that each individual is unique in their ideas, perception, and pace. In doing so, childern are encouraged to be themselves and develop their own interests as well as a love of learning.
Infants
For Infants, we tailor our programs toward auditory and visual recognition, songs, sounds, smiles and giggles, counting, and similar. We also assist in teaching basic motor skills, such as crawling, and even first steps.
Toddler
We place an emphasis on helping them remember sounds and patterns, developing hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving (via blocks, dolls, interactive puzzles, etc.) when they are ready.
